This retreat promotes emotional intelligence and awakens our lives through deep embodiment, inner reflection, sacred play, and women empowering women!

The Location... Floyd, VA. Soak in the beauty of Anahataโs facility located in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains along the Little River, one of the oldest rivers in the world. Enjoy the hot tub and trails. The majority of this retreat happens outside on the River Stage, the Great Lawn, and in the forest “dining room”.ย ย Check out the beautiful facility. The Workshops… The Summer Goddess Retreat offers six workshops, each focused on an element, and also includes yoga classes, bonfire gatherings, and an opening and closing ceremony. Workshops are held by experienced facilitators weaving yoga, dance, meditation, breathwork, partner work, group sharing circles, journal writing, and song.ย Spaciousness for personal downtime is also integrated into our program.ย

Ticket price includes 4 days of workshops, vibrant food, a spectacular facility, and lodging. (Massage is available for an additional cost.)
Option to reserve your ticket with 50% deposit. Free cancellation until June 1st. After June 1st a half refund will be given.ย After June 23rd no refund will be given, however 50% of the ticket price will be credited towards a future Goddess Retreat.

Retreat facilitators
Katie Wells
Katie Wells M.F.A. directs the Goddess Retreats and has witnessing the transformative power of supportive sisterhood.
She is also a life coach, dance artist, mother, professor, and founder of Interweave Conscious Movementยฎ. With the joy of teaching for over 25 years, Katie guides experiences that some say have changed their life.
Katie has a Masters Degree in Dance from CU at Boulder and is certified in both Spiritual Embodiment and Somatic EMDR Trauma Therapy. Her performances and workshops have been presented in Mazunte, Mexico, and across the USA and Europe.
Rachel Troyer
Rachel has a rich history of working with women. She is a Midwife Assistant, tending to her clientโs safety and empowerment as they give birth at home.ย She believes that healing transformation is possible when one is held in loving and capable hands, with trust in the inherent wisdom of the body.ย For over a decade she has helped to guide and create sacred space for a monthly women’s circle, and for children’s festivals in Floyd.ย A nature lover, Rachel holds a B.S. in Environmental Science, and also practices Reiki and Craniosacral Therapy which will be offered at the retreat.
Margie Scott
Margie is a Master Certified Retreat and Life Coach, with additional training in Deep Ecology work, Conflict Resolution, Laughter Yoga, Non-Violent Communication, and group process formats. Her work is informed by a passion for the life-affirming health of Earth and all its inhabitants. Margie is presently involved in Elder Care and stewarding her land as a 1st-time home-owner while also enjoying yoga, hiking, dancing, and porch time with friends.
Leia Jones
Leiaโs personal practice is rooted in the unification of yoga and dance. She has a degree in Dance and Choreography from Hollins University, a teaching certificate in Hatha Yoga, and a certificate in Thai Massage.ย Through this combination she brings mindfulness to movement, inspiring us to quiet the mind, come deep into the body, and connect to our joyful-spirit. Leia has facilitated at the Goddess Retreat for almost a decade.
Ashera Rose
Ashera seeks to cultivate connection and beauty through the awakening of the heart, creative expression, and intergenerational community celebration. She is an interfaith minister, mentor teacher of the Dances of Universal Peace, author and teacher of art of peace curriculums, Reiki-Sound healing practitioner, Connection Practice Coach, and lifelong songstress and dancer. She currently is the Retreat Guide and Head Facilitator of retreats and events at Anahata Education Center.ย
